About me
Hi there! I’m Dr. Jennifer Munoz, and I’m passionate about creating equitable and inclusive spaces in STEM education. As the Senior Program Director at STEM4Real, I work alongside educators to design meaningful professional learning experiences that center student identity, foster collaboration, and promote equity—especially for neurodiverse and underrepresented students.
My approach blends mindfulness, Liberatory Design, and hands-on strategies that help teachers bring science to life in their classrooms. I truly believe that when we create opportunities for students to investigate, evaluate, and explain the world around them, we inspire them to see themselves as scientists and engineers.
I’ve been fortunate to present at conferences like the STEAM Symposium and collaborate with amazing educators on everything from classroom observations to curriculum design. Whether it’s leading workshops, facilitating discussions, or brainstorming creative ways to support student learning, I’m all about building community and helping teachers feel empowered to make a difference.
When I’m not working, you can find me practicing mindfulness, exploring ways to integrate wellness into education, or simply enjoying the beautiful outdoors in my hometown of Carlsbad, California. I’m excited to connect and share ideas at the summit—let’s learn and grow together!
