About me
Alysia Garcia has been an English teacher for 14 years. She became a Computer Science teacher through luck when she got a job at a very small school in rural northern California. During COVID, she discovered a community of Computer Science teachers that helped her develop her own curriculum, and she got her CTE credential. She has been enthusiastically trying to spread Computer Science education to any teacher who will listen because she is living proof that you don't have to come from the CS world in order to teach it.
