About me
Darren Alcala is an experienced educator with a background in integrating technology and computer science into the classroom. He has served as the District Technology Instructional Coach (TOSA) for over a decade in the Cucamonga School District, providing professional development, lesson design support, and teacher mentoring. He is certified in multiple educational technology platforms and has expertise in various computer science tools and platforms. He has worked as a consultant for San Bernardino County School Services and for the Micro:bit Educational Foundation. He has presented at multiple conferences such as CUE, CA Steam Symposium, CSTA and ISTE for multiple years, been featured on podcasts, and is also the current Board President for Inland Area CUE affiliate.
