About me
Mark Lantsberger has been teaching Computer Science (CS) and Math for nearly 30 years. He took his B.S. in Mathematics (minor in CS) from California State University, Hayward and later his M.S. in Educational Leadership. He has been an active proponent of access equity for females in CS since the late 90's. More recently he's become involved with geographic and socio-economic gaps in regard to CS education. Recognized as a Finalist for California Teacher of the Year in 2018, he soon joined the San Diego County Office of Education. As a Coordinator, Mark partners with districts to promote Computer Science implementation, provides professional learning for administrators and teachers, and is expanding and strengthening state-wide systems of support around Computer Science.
